We were asked to photograph the Sunnyside Music Fest's Battle of the Bands, and I showed up with no real expecations. What I found was a fun day of extremely varied music, Breckenridge Beer, a Little Man bouncy castle for the kids, El Camino tacos, and so much more. It felt like going out and shooting for fun, which I don't do enough of. Thanks Lauren, Megan and everyone involved!

I've been asked a few times now to make some photos for the Carriage House Community Table in Boulder. They are a volunteer based organization helping unemployed and homeless people in downtown Boulder. I'm happy to help out with pictures of their clients for their brochures and website which help bring in donations.

I have to say this was a great experience for me, and I really enjoyed talking with the people here who volunteered themselves for photos. They have truly interesting stories to share! I'll leave you with a few of quotes I found interesting this morning. They are here to inspire myself as much as anyone reading.

 We are often asked by couples to make recommendations for things such as florists, caterers, etc.  When asked who we think is Denver's Best Wedding Caterer our answer is always Occasions by Sandy.  There are many reasons, but the top two are the amazing level of service they provide to their clients, and the amazing food created by Executive Chef Brian. 

We are always happy to hear that our clients have booked their catering through Occasions, because we know we will be free to do our jobs without worrying about delays, and can rest assured that our brides and grooms are in the best hands possible. Also, Occasions does their best to honor our environment, and has a staff member who personally patrols the compost bin to make sure that no one accidentally puts non-compostables in the bin.  I call her the Queen of the Compost Heap, but she may not like that distinction, so I won't mention her name.  It is all in good natured fun!
