Lindsey and John are getting married next month in Vail, so we recently went up to Golden for their engagement photos. John went to school at the School of Mines, so these are his old stomping grounds.

Doing an engagement photo session is a great chance to get to know eachother a bit before the big day, and to get used to working together. Couples often tell us their wedding photography was so much easier after having done engagement photos. This is why we do this, and include them in all of our packages!

Thanks so much Lindsey and John, we're so looking forward to your wedding!

Diana and Devin came up from Texas to have their gorgeous wedding at Allie's Cabin in Beaver Creek. They are frequent skiing visitors to the area, and wanted to make this special spot their wedding venue. They couldn't have picked a better place or better food- both were amazing!  I met them for the first time a couple months ago, doing their engagement photos in Beaver Creek. I knew from meeting them and Diana's parents that we were in for a great wedding and a fun, friendly crowd. Congratulations Diana & Devin!

We usually take on an intern each year, and that person often becomes our associate photographer. Last year we met Samantha. She rocked it on her first wedding with us, and even had some of her images from that wedding recently published in Brides Colorado! She's decided to stay on with us, and If you're interested in more of Sam's work or rates, check out our investment page above.

From Sam:

I recently photographed Nicole & Everett's wedding in lovely Evergreen, Colorado. The day was a perfect summer day: warm but not hot, clear skies, light breeze, and lush greenery across the landscape. The wedding was held at the Evergreen Lakehouse venue, which provided a drop-dead gorgeous backdrop for the wedding.

I loved everything about this wedding, from the beautiful handmade details to the absolutely casual and stress-free approach that Nicole and Everett took with everything. When I first met with her, Nicole had told me that she planned a laid-back, fuss-free wedding. I didn't realize just how much she meant that until the ceremony: it was timed at just a smidgen over two minutes! The whole wedding was very much a reflection of Nicole and Everett. Relaxed, calm, and very focused on making sure that everyone had a good time.
