Three Photographers make up This Modern Life.  

 

Kevin: Kevin has been shooting all his life.  After a long career in the skateboarding industry, he decided to follow his dream and pursue an education in photography.  He has a BFA from the prestigious Brooks Institute of photography, and the student loans to prove it.

 

Jessica: With a Masters in Education, and a past career as a teacher, I am incredibly talented in wrangling your friends and family for those necessary formal photos.  We like to joke that we got the two for 1 deal at Brooks as I was wrangled into just about every assgnment Kevin had at school.  I love to meet all your friends and family, and thrive on catching those sweet moments that seem to happen when no one is looking.

 

Sam: Sam is our incredibly talented Associate Photographer.  Don't be fooled by the Associate title. Sam could easily be running her own Wedding Photography business.  She just chooses to leave all the hard work to us.  The very first wedding the girl ever shot EVER was just published in Brides Colorado! So, yeah, she rocks. All of our associate photographers spend a rigorous year training with us before they ever step foot into a wedding of their own.  I would trust Sam with my own wedding, was I not already married.  Check out a slideshow of images Sam has shot here:

Our focus is on journalistic style photography. We limit the number of posed and staged photographs and try instead to highlight the laughter, tears, and passion that you and your guests will be feeling without our heavy involvement. We understand that each couple is unique in their style, personality, and biography and strive to produce images that reflect that individuality. The era of assembly line coverage and common, ordinary albums is over. We understand our client needs for exclusive, classic products and exceed their expectations. Our goal with every wedding is to represent the grace, creativity, and style that is possible in contemporary wedding photography.
