Kat & Ethan’s Denver Highlands Wedding Engagement Photography

I met up with Kat and Ethan at their house in the Highlands and we set out on a photo safari. It was fun getting to know them a bit and shooting their photos around their neighborhood at some spots I had scouted out and a few we stumbled on. A highlight of the shoot was sneaking up the back stairway at Linger and doing some photos on their rooftop patio while the lower levels were packed with people. In one photo where they are sitting on the RV bar, they are laughing at me because I just hit my head on a pole trying to get the right angle. Good times – anything for the shot!

I also just saw this post about engagement photos that I thought was right on. I’ve always thought that a big part of doing engagement photos was to have cool photos of yourselves at a very unique point in your lives. Check out the Huffington Post story here.

Von’s 6 month Denver Baby Photography!

It’s awesome to see little ones get bigger and gain abilities! Von is on the verge of crawling, and you can see that he wants to get out and explore so badly. He had a great time in his backyard bubble bath! Apparently he’s a big fan taking baths, and has never cried in one ever. It’s so fun to get kids doing something they love in a lifestyle photo shoot they enjoy so much!

Denver Baby Photography with Lincoln at 2 years old!

It’s hard to believe she’s two years old! And so two. Lincoln Liegh leaped, climbed and explored through our entire shoot at the Lakewood Heritage Center. We couldn’t have asked for a better day to shoot and explore a new spot. It’s hard to plan ahead recently without running into a snowstorm!

I’ve done several shoots with Lincoln now, as part of their baby’s first year package. This one was a free one, as the first of annual shoots until she’s 10. What!? That’s right, I’ll keep on photographing your child every year after a baby’s first year package. The only thing for you to do is buy some prints that you like. Nathan & Kelly’s Colorado Mountain Wedding Photography at Della Terra in Estes Park

Kelly really wanted a snowy winter backdrop to their wedding, and the weather seriously delivered! Everyone who attended Nathan and Kelly’s wedding braved the cold as they had their ceremony outside in Della Terra‘s own little piece of beautiful Colorado mountain scenery. We also got to go up into Rocky Mountain National Park to do some pictures in a winter wonderland of fresh snow and aspens.These two have a fun loving spirit, and a great group of friends who delivered some moving toasts to the newlyweds and kept things interesting as the evening progressed. Congratulations Kelly and Nathan!

Kelly & Nathan’s Red Rocks Denver Colorado Engagement Photography

Kelly and Nathan wanted a spot that screamed Colorado for their engagement photos, so we headed out to Red Rocks for a fun cruise around the park. It’s great to see couples who are new at being photographed open up and have fun with their shoot as Nathan and Kelly did. Their wedding is coming up just next month- can’t wait!
