It’s not every day you get to see something like the Dale Chihuly exhibit at the Denver Botanic Gardens. So when Kimberly and Joe wanted to go there for their engagement photos I was all over it. Not even a broken down car on the way there could stop this one! Joe and Kimberly were so cool and easy to work with, and we had a blast exploring the gardens together and taking photos among the crowds. I was happy to hear that their friends Kelly and Nathan had suggested me for their photos. Thank you- it’s always great to have referrals!
What can I say about the job I get to do? It involves working with beautiful, happy people on one of the best days of their lives! Kara and Kellen are so happy and perfect together. Photographing their wedding at Boettcher Mansion was a great experience and I have nothing but best wishes for you two. Congratulations!
Urban decay. As a photographer and city dweller, I love it. It’s so interesting and diverse and colorful! So I met up with Carolyn and Joel and we went on an urban adventure for some fun engagement photos. Some people are more comfortable in front of the camera than others, and let’s say they fall on the less side. After a little warming up and a stop by the Curtis Hotel, we were all having fun and feeling good and the photos I think show that progression. All of my shoots are a collaboration, and I’ll do everything I can to help you feel good in front of the camera!
Steve and Kristen are some of the sweetest people you could meet. Their love is genuine and their smiles contagious! It had been a while since I had done their engagement photos, and I was so happy to be welcomed into a great, fun loving group of family and friends. Their wedding was a beautiful, fun day filled with love up at the incomparable Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park. Congratulations!
Sometimes you just get a good feeling about people from the moment you see them. Meet Malinda and Brian. These two are the coolest, most down to earth couple! I had the opportunity to work with them and their kids a couple of times. We met for a get to know you engagement session, and of course for their wedding. Brian is a military veteran and definitely didn’t forget to honor his fellow vets and fallen soldiers. There were moments and remembrances throughout their day from multiple friends and family members. They took advantage of all Boettcher Mansion has to offer, with guys getting ready in the carriage house, girls in the bridal suite, photo booth in the front room, ceremony on the patio, and reception in the fireside room. The mansion always seems to surprise guests with it’s craftsman architecture and mountain feel just outside Denver.
Thank you and congratulations to Brian and Malinda! It was a pleasure to work with you.
