Amanda and Greg’s Golden Colorado Mountain Wedding Photography

Amanda and Greg had a beautiful wedding in Golden, going from a downtown Golden church to the amazing Boettcher Mansion. They were supported by a great group of friends and family, and enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by The Food Guy. From driving off in Greg’s vintage Trans-am, to their first dance under the stars on the back patio, Greg and Amanda’s wedding was unforgettable.

Back in Boulder with Beth and Eric for Some Fall Color Engagement Photos!

One thing I think comes through in looking at a lot of my work is that it is tailored to my couples, their interests, and even their history. I met Beth and Eric near the CU campus, where we drove around to some spots that they hung around as students there. We even went into the architecture building where Eric spent many hours as a student. Beth was quite nervous about our shoot, and as we were getting to the end of it she said she was having fun. Yes!

Beth and Eric’s Boettcher Mansion Wedding Photography » This Modern Life Photographers - […] Beth and Eric had one of the classiest weddings I’ve seen at Boettcher Mansion. It was also one of the largest, showing off the capacity of this awesome venue at about 175 guests.   From their engagement photos to their wedding, Eric and Beth were the coolest couple to work with. Congratulations and thanks so much! […]

Mara & Josh’s Boulder Engagement Photography

I got together with Mara and Josh for their engagement photos not long after they had returned from Burning Man. I had a hunch that they might have some cool gear with lights to bring to their shoot, and they came through big time! We went to a few different spots around Boulder, and ended up in a great park I now want to visit again with my daughter. They will be married next year at Planet Bluegrass, and I’m so looking forward to it!

Melissa and Kyle’s Della Terra, Estes Park, Colorado Wedding

Melissa and Kyle’s wedding was one of my favorites this year for so many reasons! They’re super fun easy going types who love and live in Colorado, and take advantage of their surroundings with fun outdoor activities. For their engagement shoot, we started up on Loveland Pass and did a mini tour of Summit County where they live. Being able to witness all their friends and family come together was a wonderful thing. Everyone in attendance enjoyed Della Terra Mountain Chateau and it’s incredible surroundings, even when it started to rain a bit during their ceremony! I was able to shoot their wedding with a good friend, Nathan Welton of Dreamtime Images. We traded being second shooters for eachother over the summer, and it was a chance to work closely with another photographer I have great respect for. It was a good experience to learn and grow from for sure! Congratulations to Melissa and Kyle!
